Job Title: Executive – GeM Portal & Government Tenders

Location: Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
Experience Required: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in GeM portal operations and Government tender handling
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Any discipline)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled GeM Portal & Government Tenders Executive to manage end-to-end operations related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal and government tenders. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of portal operations, tender documentation, online bidding procedures, and adherence to government procurement norms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage GeM portal registration, profile updates, and product/service listing.
  • Regularly monitor GeM tenders, bids, and purchase orders
  • Prepare, upload, and submit quotations, bids, and tender documents
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of bids in line with tender specifications
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical, commercial, and compliance-related inputs
  • Track tender progress, maintain systematic records, and follow up on submitted bids
  • Handle post-bid activities including order confirmation, documentation, and dispatch coordination
  • Communicate with government buyers and promptly address queries or clarifications
  • Ensure full compliance with government procurement guidelines and portal policies

Required Skills:

  •  Strong working knowledge of the GeM portal
  • Good understanding of government tendering processes (online and offline)
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF handling)
  • Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with MSME / NSIC registration and related compliance
  • Familiarity with tender search portals and procurement platforms
  • Basic understanding of commercial terms such as GST, EMD, PBG, etc.
