‘Raigarh TMT’ is not our brand name, as our brand name is ‘Shree Ji Steel Private Limited’. ‘Raigarh TMT’ is a secondary or local brand of TMT, which we deliver to our customers. Raigarh has several, secondary steel companies, from which the products will be sourced to our customers.  

2. What are the available brands at Raigarh locations? 

In the Raigarh location, Shree Ji Steel Private Limited also offers several brands such as Agroha, BS TMX, Dollar, NR, Suraj, Yug TMX.  

3. What is the normal lifespan of the Raigarh TMTs? 

The lifespan of Raigarh TMT bars is generally quite long due to their enhanced strength and durability. Raigarh TMT bars are designed to last for several decades when used in standard construction conditions. Factors such as environmental conditions, maintenance, and the quality of the construction can affect their actual lifespan.

We offer TMT steel of all the grades such as Fe 415, Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550, Fe 550D, Fe 600, Fe 600D. The number of Raigarh TMT bars per ton varies with diameter. 

5.5 MM TMT bars will have approximately 571 bars per ton.
8 MM TMT bars will have approximately 240 bars per ton.
10 MM TMT bars will have approximately 160 bars per ton.
12 MM TMT bars will have approximately 100 bars per ton.
16 MM TMT bars will have approximately 59 bars per ton.
20 MM TMT bars will have approximately 34 bars per ton.
25 MM TMT bars will have approximately 22 bars per ton.
28 MM TMT bars will have approximately 17 bars per ton.
32 MM TMT bars will have approximately 13 bars per ton.

6. What is the general length of TMT Saria (Standard)?  

The standard length of TMT bars (Saria) is typically 12 metres. 

7. Is Raigarh TMT a Sariya Steel or iron? 

TMT  bars which are sourced from Raigarh are a type of steel, not iron. Specifically, it refers to Thermo-Mechanical Treated (TMT) steel bars. TMT are used in construction for their strength and durability. These bars are made from steel and undergo a special treatment process to enhance their properties.

8. What is the difference between Normal Steel and Raigarh TMT steel?  

Normal steel is produced through the basic hot rolling process and it has lower strength and ductility. Raigarh TMT steel also experiences Thermo-Mechanical Treatment. For these procedures, the Raipur TMT has higher tensile strength and better toughness.

9. What is the full form of the ‘Fe’ in the types of TMT bars?  

In TMT bars, 'Fe' stands for 'Iron.' It denotes the grade of iron used, such as Fe 415, Fe 500, or Fe 550, indicating different strength levels.
